1. Give your time instead of money

The holidays are a beautiful time to give. Instead of giving items, think about sharing moments. Call someone you love and have a long conversation with them. Have your family over for dinner and share some wonderful memories with them. Those memories will last longer than a material item. At the end of the day, it’s truly about the little simple things that make us laugh, smile, and love the most!

2. Shop locally

Have you ever thought about the impact you can have by shopping locally? When you shop from a local company you are supporting a dream, a passion, a lifestyle. More often than not, items purchased from local businesses can be more sustainable and more durable. You are spending your money wisely and support those people directly.  

3. Give to yourself

Although it may feel like doing it perfectly is the only option, it in fact is not. Trying to achieve perfection on something that can lead us to We often spread ourselves so thin over the holiday season that we often forget to take time for ourselves. It may result in us being so worn down by the time the festivities start that we are not fully present and are not able to enjoy those beautiful moments that are happening around us. It truly is not selfish to take time for yourself, take a nap, go get a massage or rest. Having time to recharge is very important, it’s healthy and gives you the ability to show up as your best self and be present for others!
