Tips & Recommendations for January
It’s a New Year, which means New Goals! Many times our goals are to finally get on top of our finances, but where do you even start? Throughout 2021 GPS will be providing tips to become a master at your personal finances and will be recommending books, podcasts, and videos to help you along the way.
3 TIPS FROM DOUG
- Remove the emotion
At times when feeling overwhelmed, it seems easier to hide than to take that first step. By removing your emotions and looking at your finances as if they belonged to someone else, you’ll be able to gather all the facts to create an action plan.
2. Have Patience
Just as Rome was not built in a day, neither will your personal financial mastery be achieved in one. Understanding, processing, and mastering your personal finances takes time, patients, and faith. Take everything one step at a time.
3. Connect with others
When embarking on your path to financial mastery, it is normal to feel overwhelmed and alone. However, more times than not, you are not alone. Many people have experienced what you are, and they also felt overwhelmed and alone. Reach out to those around you to connect with them and hear their stories. It will bring you closer to them, and remind you that you can do this, and you are not alone.
As always we would love to chat with you and help set you up for success with your finances. Schedule a Complimentary 25-Minute Call with Doug: https://meetwithdoug.com/
